Better for Type 1 Diabetes

The BETTER project is a Canadian research initiative led by researchers, people living with—or having a child living with—type 1 diabetes (including LADA), health professionals, and policymakers. Their mission is to improve the lives of people living with type 1 diabetes in Canada by using research, providing tailored training and resources, and raising public awareness of the daily challenges of living with this condition.

The activities will take place in St. Adèle, either at:

– Usine Rolland
– Mont Loup-Garou

The exact location will be confirmed the Monday before the activity.

Activities will take place even if it rains or snows. Light rain? We’ll stay indoors. Big storm? We’ll have a Plan B for an indoor venue 🙂

Tickets can be purchased on the day of the event, subject to availability.

Advance booking is strongly recommended.

Your ticket is non-refundable, but it can be transferred to another person if you are unable to join us. Contact us to change the name of the participant at tickets@flowfestival.ca. Include their name, order number, and email address.

Children are welcome to participate in the activities!

The courses and workshops are geared more towards adults and teenagers aged 15-16 and up, but younger children can participate when accompanied by their parents.

All our classes are accessible to everyone and all levels: beginners, advanced, seniors, athletes, children. Our professional instructors know how to guide you and provide variations and adaptations for potential injuries, pregnant women, etc.

Bring your purchase confirmation email which serves as your ticket, but your name will also be on our list.

Your yoga mat, although we will decide whether or not to use it depending on the weather.

A water bottle to stay hydrated. Clothing suitable for all weather conditions, comfortable for yoga, and a sweater for the evening.
