Breath and Sounds visits the Winterfest! Join us for a unique experience where movement, breathing, and sound merge in perfect synergy. This innovative workshop promises to awaken your senses and reconnect you with your body in a new way. We will explore four types of breathing in depth and analyze together their effects on the body and mind. This will allow everyone to leave with concrete tools to better manage stress and emotions on a daily basis to integrate into your life. In the second part we will talk about cold therapy: the benefits of cold baths and saunas, their positive effects on the body and mind and improve your health and well-being.

ASTRO YOGA with Natasha Langlois
Through this yoga class, we will combine astrology and writing. At the heart of the cyclical movement, we stop for a moment to chat about astrology, to see what the planets have to tell us at this moment. A magnificent practice that interweaves writing and movement through present energies that allow us to dive deep into the heart of ourselves. Certain themes are highlighted: lunations, eclipses... We talk about their impact and we all move together through this energy.

Cultivate your Vital Beauty with Facial Yoga. To release tension and restore radiance and vitality to your face. Self-massages and specific facial expressions to target facial muscles. NIDRA SOUNDBATH with Santosh from Resonessence
Yoga Nidra session with Tibetan bowls for deep relaxation, accompanied by a musical moment with crystal bowls and harmonium to finish with a participatory mantra chant. Yoga Nidra is an ancestral discipline from India which means *awake sleep* or *yogic sleep*. This deep guided relaxation, using the rotation of the mind in the body, breathing and visualizations, transports us into a regenerative meditative state. Thus the mental, physical and emotional bodies are fully recharged by freeing themselves from excess emotions.

In the Salle du Parc all day long: visual environment dressing of video projections by the artist Aurélien Lafargue. With a subtle olfactory accompaniment of diffusion of essential oils for a total immersion of the senses in well-being and complete serenity.

Come and discover the sauna and ice bath experience after your yoga session. Saunas and ice baths are not just about relaxation, they are also designed to improve your overall health. Sauna sessions help eliminate toxins, reduce stress and promote better sleep. On the other hand, ice baths can invigorate your senses and improve blood circulation. Whether you're looking to boost your immune system, soothe sore muscles, or simply unwind after a long day of yoga, journey to a healthier you. Accessible to all, no experience required, you will be guided on site by the great Sauna Sapien team! Bring your own swimsuit and towel, no equipment will be provided on site. You can change in a closed locker room.

INFORMATIONS - FAQ
Fest”hiver 2024 takes place in Sainte-Adèle 999 Bd de Sainte-Adèle, Sainte-Adèle, QC J8B 2N4.
All activities are close to the parking lots and accessible on foot. Park your car and enjoy!
Yoga classes take place inside the Place des citoyens: in the Rousseau room and on the ground floor in the Parc room.
DIRECTIONS
Prices at the door on Festival day will be $10 more expensive than pre-sale. Don’t wait to reserve your place!
Within the limit of available places (200 maximum), if there are still tickets to sell.
Your ticket is non-refundable, but it is possible to transfer it to another person, in case you cannot join us. Contact us to change the participant’s name at tickets@flowfestival.ca. Enter their name, order number and email.
MAIN SESSIONS
There is no reservation necessary to participate in the Winterfest. First come, first seated 🙂
Several parking lots are available in Sainte-Adèle. You can park mainly as follows:
The Festival will take place even if it rains or snows because the workshops will take place indoors. Except for a few free outdoor activities 🙂
Looking for an accommodation option during the Festival? Here are some suggestions to help you in the Laurentians:
Bring your purchase confirmation email and the associated QR code. You can show us the email or print it. In exchange, you will receive a small bracelet identifying the type of ticket purchased.
- Your yoga mat and any other accessories you usually use (meditation cushion/back chair, towel, block(s), strap(s), blanket(s), etc.).
- Your purchase confirmation email and the associated QR code.
- Bottle of water to hydrate you, drinks will however be purchased on site. The available water point is located inside in the toilets.
- Clothes suitable for all weather, comfortable for Yoga and a sweater for the evening.
For Sauna and Ice Bath activities:
- Bring your own swimsuit and towel, no equipment will be provided on site.
- A change of clothes.
- You can change in the locker room in a closed tent near the saunas 🙂
There will be no exhibitors for this winter edition!
Local vendors and merchants will be available on site: sandwiches, smoothies, herbal teas, mocktails, gluten-free options. Many other catering options are available in the city of Sainte-Adèle.
Our sellers’ preferred payment method is credit or debit card. If you wish to pay in cash, they cannot guarantee to have change available so please have the exact amount with you.
All our lessons are accessible to everyone and at all levels: beginners, advanced, seniors, athletes, children. Our professional teachers know how to guide you to give variations and adaptations to potential injuries, pregnant women etc.
If you are a beginner, the FLOW Festival is a good way to discover, initiate or test new types of Yoga.
The courses will be given in French because the majority of participants are French speakers as well as our teachers. To the extent of their abilities and in accordance with the fluidity of their teaching, some instructions could be translated into English as well.
The participant is asked for their desired language when purchasing the ticket.
Children are welcome at the Flow Festival!
Entrance is free for children under 12.
Classes and workshops are more geared towards adults and teenagers from 15-16 years old but younger children can participate accompanied by their parents.
